- Guide architecture, interfaces, technical standards, and implementation decisions
- Establish clear ownership and decision-making across teams
- Influence engineering strategy beyond immediate team
Requirements
- Significant software engineering experience building complex systems
- Experience managing and developing high-performing engineers
- A bias for action and iterative delivery
- Strong technical judgement across architecture, implementation, and operations
- Experience leading cross-functional or matrixed teams
- Ability to build trust across disciplines
- Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
