About the role

  • Full-Stack Software Developer at gaiia enhancing cloud infrastructure and optimizing public APIs for better developer experience. Collaborating with teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the availability, performance and security of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Build internal libraries and DevOps guidelines to help Engineering squads own and maintain their infrastructure.
  • Craft and optimize our public APIs to provide a stellar developer experience to our technical customers.
  • Design and maintain robust data pipelines and platforms used by both internal teams and external customers.
  • Research and develop technical solutions and best practices that improve squads' development, release and maintenance experience.
  • Collaborate with all development squads.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience in the Javascript web ecosystem (Typescript is a big advantage).
  • At least five (5) years of experience designing, deploying and maintaining high-availability systems in the cloud.
  • You can deal with uncertainty and bring order to fuzzy challenges.
  • You have an outgoing and collaborative personality, eager to work with different stakeholders to solve complex problems.
  • You have a strong product mindset.
  • Experience with public API design (GraphQL is a big advantage).
