About the role

Project Engineering Coordinator managing technical execution for hydroelectric turbine design. Involves coordination between engineering disciplines and project management teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical interface between the turbine-related design engineering team and the project engineering manager.
Analyze and coordinate the technical contract requirements between the client and the product design team.
Plan and lead coordination meetings with the turbine design engineers.
Coordinate the scheduling of engineering activities and technical decisions to ensure deadlines, quality, and costs are met.
Coordinate the collection of technical lessons learned on projects and the associated mitigation measures with support from the design engineers.
Manage the project budget, margin movements, and technical opportunities for the turbine-related product design engineering team.
Coordinate technical support for site teams during turbine installation and commissioning.

Recognized university degree in mechanical engineering or a graduate degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of heavy industry design.
Relevant experience in engineering project management.
Experience in client relationship management.
Fluency in English and French.
Ability to travel occasionally.
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening.
Must have authorization to work in Canada without restriction and without the need for sponsorship.
