About the role
- Tech Lead developing secure cloud applications and middleware for Genpact’s AI and digital transformation solutions. Managing Python automation, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead application development and middleware activities
- Configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and manage load balancers, web servers, and application servers
- Develop expert-level Python and Shell scripts
- Implement IT automation and configuration management using Ansible and Helm
- Maintain source control and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and Flux
- Apply security hardening, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Manage cloud-based containers and orchestration platforms
- Manage large web-based n-tier applications in secure cloud environments
- Work with graph databases, SPARQL, Kafka, Redis, Airflow, observability tools, and big-data platforms
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning of applications and middleware platforms
- Serve as an application/middleware specialist and contribute to system architecture
Requirements
- Strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux / Unix, Storage and Networking
- Hands-on experience with load balancers, Apache / Nginx, Tomcat, application integration, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Expert-level Python (mandatory) and Shell scripting skills
- Familiarity with Ansible and Helm
- Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, Artifactory, and Flux
- Familiarity with security hardening, transport encryption, SSO authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Basic operational knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Prior experience managing large web-based n-tier applications in secure cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with GraphDB and knowledge of SPARQL
- Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, and Airflow
- Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Loki
- Knowledge of OIDC/OAuth, SAML, and LDAP integration
- Exposure to Hadoop / ELK Stack
- Capacity planning and performance tuning of applications and middleware platforms
- System architecture / developer work experience
- Hands-on application / middleware specialist
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master's degree in Software Engineering
- English proficiency required at C2 level
- Required skills: Middleware Development and Python
- ISTQB Certified Tester, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate, or Oracle Certified Professional certifications listed
