About the role
- Senior Full Stack Developer building AI-driven .NET and frontend software for XTM’s enterprise translation platform. Leading automation, MCP, and AI-assisted development practices across the Montréal engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack features end-to-end using C#/.NET Core APIs and modern frontend applications
- Use AI-driven development workflows to design, implement, test, and review software
- Define how the engineering team applies AI tools and workflows
- Apply and evolve the AI-DLC across the team, including practices, guardrails, standards, and reusable playbooks
- Design and implement automation initiatives to improve team productivity and product quality
- Contribute to MCP server setups connecting AI tools to internal systems
- Help define data security practices for information shared with external AI services
- Contribute to architecture decisions
- Share knowledge through code reviews, pairing, and internal training
- Lead AI initiatives and automation projects as a technical reference and multiplier for the team
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Strong C#, .NET Core, and Web API skills
- Solid frontend experience with Angular, React, or TypeScript
- Day-to-day AI-first development experience with Claude Code, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with AI-driven development methods such as AI-DLC or equivalent
- Clear judgment on where AI helps and where human control is needed
- Experience with MCP or other methods of connecting AI tools to systems is an asset
- Good judgment regarding AI data security and responsible use of AI tools
- Experience with SQL Server and Azure or AWS
- Ability to share knowledge and coach peers on AI-assisted workflows
- Professional working proficiency in English and French
