About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer designing electrical systems for multiple projects in a collaborative, hybrid work environment with a focus on water and wastewater systems.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with proposal requests
- Completing condition assessments for various facilities
- Preparing detailed design drawing packages for projects
- Completion and review of electrical design calculations
- Preparation of contract documentation
- Leading the electrical project team throughout the project phases
- Technical review and quality control of design drawings and documents
- Support during tendering and construction
- Mentoring of junior staff
Requirements
- B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
- Registered member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario
- Minimum of 10 years of experience involved in the design and implementation of MV and LV electrical systems
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn
- G-class driver’s license
