About the role

  • MOVE Coach delivering fitness programming for youth with disabilities at GoodLife Kids Foundation. Responsible for leading classes, developing workout plans, and collaborating with community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities
  • Collaborating with other MOVE Coaches and Supervisors when discovering best practices
  • Create and develop workout plans that meet programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids to support the needs of the Participants
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with MOVE Participants and our Community Partners
  • Respond to MOVE Participants and Caregiver feedback and concerns

Requirements

  • Experience delivering fitness classes
  • Must have or being willing to obtain a current nationally recognized Group Fitness/Coaching certification
  • Must have a current CPR-A certification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Access to reliable internet connection that supports uninterrupted video conferencing
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with Participants and MOVE Community Partners
  • Passion for working with youth with disabilities
