About the role

  • MOVE Coach delivering exceptional fitness programming for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities. Collaborating with coaches to develop adaptive workout plans and ensuring positive participant experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through coaching, instruction and facilitation
  • Collaborating with other MOVE Coaches and Supervisors when discovering best practices
  • Create and develop workout plans that meet programming guidelines of MOVE by GoodLife Kids to support the needs of the Participants
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with MOVE Participants and our Community Partners
  • Respond to MOVE Participants and Caregiver feedback and concerns

Requirements

  • Passion for working with youth with disabilities
  • Experience delivering fitness classes
  • Able to deliver in-person classes
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a current nationally recognized Group Fitness/Coaching certification
  • Must have a current CPR-A certification
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with Participants and MOVE Community Partners
  • Access to reliable internet connection that supports uninterrupted video conferencing
  • A proactive, flexible, and adaptable mindset
