Responsibilities
Plan, organize, lead and control all financial activities of the organization
Develop, monitor and update annual budgets and financial forecasts
Oversee daily accounting operations and supervise the finance team
Produce financial statements, management reports and dashboards
Manage cash flow and optimize financial operations
Prepare annual audit files and liaise with external auditors
Implement and strengthen internal control procedures
Ensure compliance with tax, social and regulatory obligations, including SHQ (Société d'habitation du Québec) requirements
Advise senior management on financial and strategic matters
Collaborate with government and municipal partners
Contribute to financial planning, risk control and improvement of organizational performance
Requirements
University degree in accounting, finance or management
3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and Excel
CPA designation is an asset
Experience in the public sector, para-public organizations or non-profits is an asset
Excellent attention to detail and strong concentration skills
High integrity and respect for confidentiality
Proven autonomy and strong interpersonal skills
