About the role
- AI code licensing program assessing existing software repositories for licensing value. Compensating eligible code owners under agreed non-exclusive licensing terms.
Responsibilities
- Submit an existing software repository for initial assessment of licensing value
- Receive an evaluation based on the codebase and applicable acceptance criteria
- Explore licensing opportunities if the repository qualifies
- Review the estimated value before deciding whether to proceed
- Receive compensation according to agreed licensing terms if a transaction is completed
Requirements
- Software development experience or ownership of an existing software product, application, or repository
- Full ownership or legal rights to license the submitted source code
- Access to original code repositories, including discontinued products, abandoned projects, internal tools, or independently developed software
- Code must not include third-party material that you are not permitted to sublicense
Benefits
- Compensation of $100 per 1M source-code tokens for standard non-exclusive licensing
- Compensation of $40 per 1M Git-history tokens for standard non-exclusive licensing
- Individual repository assessment and estimated value review before deciding whether to proceed
