About the role

  • Lead Engineer responsible for overseeing AI Platform Engineering and SDLC frameworks at Grantek. Manage development toolchains and implement automation solutions while mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and maintain standardized SDLC and DevSecOps frameworks across engineering and software development teams
  • Govern and continuously improve enterprise development toolchains, including GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code platforms such as Terraform and Pulumi
  • Design, build, and maintain reusable AI code libraries and modular components to accelerate software delivery
  • Embed security, compliance, and quality controls throughout the development lifecycle using automated testing, code reviews, and version control practices
  • Partner with IT and Digital Enablement teams to align infrastructure, licensing, and cybersecurity standards with platform requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and enablement programs to support adoption across teams
  • Collaborate with project managers, consulting leaders, and delivery teams to align platform standards with project execution
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to platform adoption, deployment velocity, code reuse, and compliance
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, reliability, and engineering efficiency
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools and automation frameworks
  • Mentor and guide technical staff within platform engineering

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or software engineering leadership roles
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise-grade SDLC and DevSecOps governance frameworks
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation practices
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, automated testing, and deployment workflows
  • Experience with containerization, virtualization, and environment orchestration
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, compliance requirements, and secure software development
  • Experience managing version control, licensing compliance, and intellectual property protection
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms
