Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer developing scalable web features and improving APIs at Zipline. Shape robust systems while contributing to AI-powered initiatives in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Defining and improving useful APIs for customers
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable features for web-based applications
Maintain and enhance existing features, adapting them for an evolving market
Evangelize coding, testing, and performance best practices with the team
Collaborate with product, design, and customer success teams on new customer-focused features

Significant relevant production experience with large-scale Ruby on Rails applications
Great written and verbal communication skills
Preference for taking projects from inception to completion and being outcome-oriented
Strong understanding of systems architecture, database design, and the Ruby language
Proactive communication and time management as a remote employee
Pride in craft, valuing clean code that scales for large teams
Interest or experience with AI/ML technologies, especially in content generation or data structuring.
