Responsibilities
- Build robust Java back-end applications
- Write clean code and industrialize it through deployment
- Help clients evolve applications and modernize systems
- Accelerate clients' migration to the cloud
- Work across varied projects and client environments
- Apply automated testing, code reviews and security best practices
- Monitor and support applications in production
- Share expertise and help other team members grow
- Participate in occasional high-value client assignments
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing Java back-end applications
- Experience with mission-critical systems is an asset
- Strong command of modern Java and the Spring ecosystem
- Experience with API design and distributed architectures
- Comfortable working in a cloud environment; AWS preferred
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools
- Experience with containerization and infrastructure as code
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews and security best practices
- Experience monitoring and supporting applications in production
- Autonomous, rigorous and delivery-focused
- Ability to quickly integrate into a new team
- French-English bilingualism is an asset
- Availability for high-impact client assignments
