About the role

  • Account Executive selling Hyland’s enterprise content intelligence solutions to finance and insurance customers. Managing sales pipelines, forecasts, demonstrations, RFPs, and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive sales plans to meet or exceed quota
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for assigned existing or potential customers or partners
  • Initiate regular contact to develop, maintain, and expand business relationships
  • Develop and communicate accurate real-time sales forecasts
  • Record customer account information, opportunities, commitments, conversations, visits, and sales calls in the CRM
  • Partner with sales solution engineers to develop and deliver software demonstrations
  • Engage company specialists and support resources to advance opportunities
  • Assess the viability of RFP requests and influence response development
  • Develop account closing plans and engage internal leadership in negotiation and contracting
  • Attend and contribute to trade shows
  • Pursue opportunities for company expansion and integration
  • Improve account management and the end-to-end sales process
  • Collaborate across teams to develop and maintain pipeline

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience as an Account Manager
  • Knowledge of sales in a relevant technology solution or assigned industry
  • Proficiency in opportunity management and account planning tools
  • Ability to develop comprehensive sales plans, manage pipeline, and deliver accurate real-time sales forecasting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with discretion and tact
  • Highly organized and able to successfully multitask
  • Self-motivated and able to manage work independently to completion
  • Strong collaboration skills within a team and across functions
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to engage internal leadership in negotiation and contracting processes
  • Up to 50% travel time required
