About the role
- Developer maintaining and improving JetBrains IDE plugin for Hyperskill's educational platform. Remote role focusing on bug fixes and feature implementation for enhanced learner experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve an existing JetBrains IDE plugin
- Fix bugs and issues reported by users and the support team
- Keep the plugin compatible with new JetBrains IDE versions
- Improve stability, usability, and overall developer experience
- Implement new features and improvements
Requirements
- Experience with Kotlin or Java and readiness to work with the Kotlin stack
- Extensive AI and vibe coding experience to be able to navigate through the IntelliJ Plugin SDK
- Comfortable working independently without a very detailed technical specification or guidance
- Would be a plus: Experience with JetBrains Platform SDK
- Experience developing JetBrains IDE plugins (commercial or personal)
