About the role

  • Provide technical support for Hyundai vehicles to Dealer Network resolving issues timely. Ensure dealership technicians receive appropriate advice on repairs and diagnose technical hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to dealership requests for technical assistance via phone or electronically
  • Advise dealership technicians on appropriate repair actions
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Research questions using available information resources
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Log all help desk interactions
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
  • Stay current with vehicle systems information, changes and updates
  • Document and escalate emerging quality issues from the field

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positions.
  • Completion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.g., diploma / certificate / trade license ... or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Excellent Automotive Technical skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic methods and equipment
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of automotive electrical systems, including in-depth experience with vehicle networks (CAN, LIN bus) as well as experience with BEV systems
  • Automotive Master Technician (or equivalent)
  • Experience with teaching/coaching technical aptitudes
  • Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
