About the role
- IT service delivery manager leading strategic technology assets, teams and vendors for iA Financial Group. Advancing digital transformation across group savings, retirement and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Define sector priorities and contribute to its vision
- Build and mobilize high-performing, autonomous, accountable teams
- Lead more than a dozen internal employees and over 50 consultants organized into squads
- Attract, onboard and develop talent; manage performance and succession planning
- Own delivery of initiatives and performance of strategic assets, including evolution, stability, security and sustainability
- Define technology roadmaps and capacity plans; prioritize initiatives by value, risks, costs, skills and dependencies
- Ensure operational performance, resilience and service continuity
- Reduce technical debt and obsolescence risks and simplify the technology ecosystem
- Evolve delivery practices and models to improve quality, predictability, execution speed and value
- Act as a strategic partner to supported business sectors and align business priorities, technology strategies and enterprise architecture
- Contribute to strategic planning, portfolio management and governance forums
- Oversee portfolio budget planning and monitoring
- Manage external vendors’ and partners’ contribution, capacity and performance
- Ensure compliance with governance, standards and security requirements
- Integrate cybersecurity, data protection and technology risk management into decision-making
- Integrate artificial intelligence and automation and experiment with new delivery approaches
Requirements
- Strategic and engaging leadership, with ability to build high-performing teams and influence without formal authority
- Ability to turn complex priorities into concrete results and engage teams through change
- Ability to influence business partners, technology leaders, vendors and executive stakeholders
- Excellent judgment balancing value, delivery capacity, risks, costs and operational stability
- High degree of autonomy and accountability; ability to simplify complex issues and tailor communications
- More than 10 years of experience combining information technology, solution delivery and leadership
- At least 5 years in a management role
- Solid experience in digital solution delivery, portfolio management, product management or management of strategic IT assets
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Interest in artificial intelligence and automation
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written
- Experience in group savings and retirement or financial services is considered an asset
- Experience with digital platforms related to sales, customer experience, human resources or corporate services is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, Lean, product management, SaaS solutions, cloud environments, DevOps and DevSecOps is considered an asset
