About the role
- System Administrator managing Azure infrastructure, identity, and security for Workleap, a Montreal-based software company. Automating IT operations with Terraform, PowerShell, Git, and AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Own Workleap's Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, backup, VPN and policy, to maintain reliability, security and availability
- Run Entra ID, Active Directory, Conditional Access and Zscaler to manage employee access
- Own certificate lifecycle and patching using DigiCert, DCV and Azure Key Vault
- Build and ship infrastructure as code with Terraform and Git pull request workflows
- Integrate AI tools such as Claude into IT workflows to automate recurring tasks and speed incident resolution
- Lead infrastructure projects in Jira and Confluence
- Collaborate with IT Support and security teams and act as the escalation point for complex incidents
- Help integrate new employees and technologies, improve and automate IT processes, and deploy new tools and processes
Requirements
- Windows Server and Linux administration in Azure-based environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure
- Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code (required)
- Comfort with Git and pull request workflows
- Knowledge of networking, TLS certificates, logging and monitoring
- Ability to automate with PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Project management experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Claude and/or AI workflows
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
