Senior Product Manager at Instacart leading the Retailer Platform team for white-label storefronts. Collaborating with major retailers to drive e-commerce experiences and measurable growth.
Responsibilities
Define and drive a multi-year strategy and roadmap for Storefront Platform theming and merchandising tools (templates, components, style tokens, page builders, personalization) that differentiate retailer experiences and scale across partners.
Lead customer discovery with major retailers; translate brand and merchandising requirements into scalable, secure platform capabilities with clear guardrails, balancing flexibility with performance, accessibility, and SEO.
Own end-to-end execution across 5+ teams: write crisp PRDs, prioritize backlogs, sequence launches, and drive outcomes through metrics such as adoption, time-to-launch, conversion lift, and attach rate; run experiments and controlled ramps.
Partner with Design to evolve a storefront design system and WYSIWYG tooling, and with Engineering to define APIs/SDKs and internal tools that accelerate implementation and reduce ongoing maintenance.
Serve as the point person for executive and cross-functional communication; align stakeholders across R&D and Commercial, surface trade-offs, de-risk timelines, and ensure retailer commitments land on time with quality.
Requirements
6+ years of product management experience building B2B SaaS or platform products.
3+ years working directly with enterprise customers in retail, e-commerce, or adjacent industries, including running discovery workshops and QBRs.
2+ years shipping web theming, CMS, site builder, or design system tooling (e.g., templates, component libraries) used by multiple external customers or internal teams.
Proven track record leading multi-quarter roadmaps across 5+ cross-functional partners (Engineering, Design, Data Science/Analytics, Research, TPM) and 10+ stakeholders.
Proficiency with web fundamentals and constraints (HTML/CSS, component libraries, responsive design, performance, accessibility aligned to WCAG 2.1) and with analytics/experimentation (ability to write SQL and use tools like Looker or Amplitude; A/B testing).
Experience presenting product strategy, trade-offs, and results to VP+ audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
