About the role

Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in developing products, including actively designing, coding, and modifying the website from layout to function.
- Iterate on new and existing features by contributing across the whole technical stack.
- Contribute to unit and end to end testing suites to ensure high quality, while working with quality assurance analysts on system and user acceptance testing.
- Use debugging tools to troubleshoot source/root cause of code defects and resolve defects resulting from all levels of testing.
- Participate in technical planning sessions, and provide input on potential solutions.
- Ensure implementation and refinement of formal process to support the software development lifecycle process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or other relevant graduate degrees.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Lean and Agile development methodologies (such as Kanban or SCRUM).
- Experience building software through the entire SDLC from idea to release.
- Development experience with relevant languages (such as JavaScript/Typescipt, Python, or similar).
- Experience with modern web technology stacks (such as Svelte, D3, Event Streams, SQL).
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts (such as CI/CD, Orchestration, Monitoring, Automated Testing).
- Deep intellectual curiosity with a results-focused relentless pursuit of answers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, embrace change and ambiguity.
