About the role
- Senior Data Scientist driving analytics, experiments, and business decisions for Jerry.ai’s AI-powered physical-asset management app. Embedded across growth, product, AI, or strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the central Data Science & Analytics team while embedding in growth, product, AI and automation, or strategic partnerships
- Own the analytical function for an assigned business unit end-to-end
- Define business problems, clarify the decisions analyses should inform, and challenge flawed questions
- Define metrics, build reports, run analyses, design experiments, and surface insights that improve key metrics
- Present recommendations to product, growth, finance, or operations counterparts
- Explain what is happening, why it is happening, and recommended next steps
- Drive initiatives from analytical insight through execution and measurable business outcomes
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently
- Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering impact
- Clear, persuasive communication skills with the ability to influence leadership-level decisions
- Analytical proficiency with SQL or Python
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Tools: SQL (ClickHouse), Metabase, Python, Jupyter Hub, and GitHub
