About the role

  • Product Designer improving the user experience for Sherpa’s travel platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design delightful visa application experiences for international travellers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers and customer support to improve the traveller's user experience.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in every aspect and a strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking.
  • Crafting user interfaces in Figma and building prototypes to show the end to end user experience.
  • Participate in various stages of the design lifecycle: from ideation to research, prototyping, validation, and design.
  • Partner with Product Managers to rapidly validate concepts prior to development.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of experience working in a product design role
  • A portfolio that proves real visual range across brand and product, not tidy-but-flat work
  • Shipped complex flows from discovery through iteration
  • A keen eye for usability and accessibility
  • Demonstrated experience working on projects from discovery through to shipping/iteration
  • A driver who takes ownership of ensuring a rewarding experience is being delivered to users
  • Present one or more case studies that showcase your impact on the product
