About the role

Platform Engineer managing AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for Kento Health's cardiac care solution. Collaborating with engineers to ensure scalability and reliability of services.

Responsibilities

Take on significant responsibility for AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and system architecture
Build and optimize deployment pipelines and manage AWS services
Work closely with the engineering team to design and implement infrastructure solutions
Handle scaling of systems to support thousands of users while managing costs and security compliance

Must hold a valid work permit and be located in Canada (Québec preferred)
5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering (or 3+ years with exceptional high-value experience in these areas)
Deep AWS expertise across multiple services
Strong experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar)
Experience with cost optimization and managing cloud infrastructure budgets
Security best practices and compliance experience, ideally in healthcare or other regulated industries
Experience with serverless technologies
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, RDS, etc.)
Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and solve complex infrastructure issues under pressure
Startup experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
