About the role
- Software Developer building C++ software and automated tests at Kinaxis, a modern supply-chain orchestration company. Collaborating across teams throughout development, build, testing, and special projects.
Responsibilities
- Use a variety of modern technologies across the software development lifecycle from development through build and into testing and test automation
- Develop high quality, well-crafted code that delivers value to customers
- Test the work of other team members and develop automated tests
- Collaborate with developers and testers on the team and with other teams
- Support a variety of special projects as needed
Requirements
- 2 years hands-on experience post Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent program
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for writing well-crafted, maintainable, robust, unit-test covered code
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and other core software concepts
- Ability to quickly grasp technical ideas
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to our processes
- Prior development experience with C++
- Practical experience with Unit Testing and test automation
- Development experience with Java/C#, and/or Typescript
- Experience with Network programming
- Understanding of Cloud Platforms and Kubernetes
