About the role

  • AI Platform Engineer at LANDR designing collaborative ecosystems of AI agents for music creators. Responsibilities include data architecture, pipeline optimization, and product collaboration in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement interaction logic for a multi-agent ecosystem where distinct agents collaborate to create a single, verifiable source of truth
  • Design and build pipelines that allow AI systems to query user catalogs, publication metadata, mastering history, engagement statistics, and platform behavior instantly
  • Manage access to real-time data at large scale
  • Build clean, fast interfaces that allow our AI orchestrator to access user context without touching production databases directly
  • Balance the use of costly LLM calls with deterministic logic to optimize cost and latency at scale
  • Work with the AI Product Manager and full‑stack developers to translate complex backend logic into a conversational, seamless user experience
  • Implement strict validation layers to prevent hallucinations around critical compliance rules and external policies, and ensure user data is handled securely

Requirements

  • Proven experience building production-grade agentive systems (LangChain, AutoGPT, or custom orchestrators)
  • Hands-on experience with contextual LLM systems – you’ve worked on RAG systems, context windows, or AI products that require custom access to data
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL patterns for structuring data for AI retrieval
  • Experience with vector databases and semantic search – you understand integrations, similarity search, and how to structure data for AI retrieval (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or similar)
  • Experience implementing “LLM-as-a-judge” workflows or human-in-the-loop processes to measure accuracy
  • Fundamental knowledge of machine learning (ML) – you understand supervised and unsupervised learning and can evaluate trade-offs when selecting models

Benefits

  • Health insurance coverage, with access to virtual doctors via Maple and an employee assistance program (via Homewood)
  • Access to our RRSP program, including an employer contribution of up to 2% of your annual salary
  • Frequent office and social events (catered lunches on Mondays, bagel Tuesdays, 5@7 socials, etc.)
  • Your birthday is a paid day off
  • Annual allowances for public transit (Montreal employees) and fitness activities
  • Free access to our music studio (for practice or recording)
  • Free access to LANDR and Reason products
  • Open-plan downtown office near Square-Victoria metro station
  • Partnerships with local music events and festivals (MUTEK, Pop Montréal, Igloofest…)
