About the role

  • Staff Product Manager owning Boxed.gg’s collectible economy, customer journey, inventory pipeline, and roadmap. Driving data-led product growth for Loot Labs’ global collecting platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the BOXED.GG product roadmap and contribute to strategic initiatives
  • Set product direction and defend it to founders and senior stakeholders
  • Own the health and development of the BOXED economy, including gems, shards, site balance, collectible-market dynamics, and customer sentiment
  • Own the full customer journey from onboarding and activation through gamification, opening experiences, social and retention mechanics, in-product economy, and fulfillment systems
  • Propose and sequence roadmap priorities against business and customer outcomes
  • Drive product and business impact, showing the reasoning behind decisions
  • Use quantitative data to analyze activation, retention, monetization, referrals, features, and experiments
  • Specify analytics needed to make features and experiments successful
  • Conduct and use qualitative research including customer interviews, community beta groups, polls, and surveys
  • Own the BOXED inventory pipeline and address the relationship between sourcing, offerings, and consumer experience
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, growth, fulfillment, support, and other cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Experience operating with significant ownership and accountability for difficult product decisions
  • Experience working effectively in environments where ownership and agency are prioritized over headcount
  • Experience owning a roadmap with significant revenue impact
  • Ability to explain how and why core product metrics changed positively or negatively
  • Technical fluency sufficient to earn the trust of engineering and design teammates
  • Ability to make decisions, defend product direction, and disagree and commit
  • Ability to collaborate across marketing, growth, fulfillment, support, and other departments
  • Curiosity about the collectibles industry and collector communities
  • T-shaped/full-stack perspective across multiple business verticals
  • Recognized depth in one area and credible contribution across several areas
  • Resourcefulness and scrappiness; ability to create leverage without defaulting to additional cost or headcount
  • Willingness to experiment with new tools or ways of working, including AI
  • Ability to unblock oneself by building or automating fixes
  • Data-driven decision-making and ability to back decisions with evidence
  • Ability to build new ways to measure impact against company goals
  • Preferred, not required: experience building consumer products with engagement loops and habit formation
  • Preferred, not required: marketplace, e-commerce, or fulfillment systems experience
  • Preferred, not required: familiarity with digital economies, site currencies, and payment rails
  • Preferred, not required: experience with live operations and in-product economy design
  • Preferred, not required: personal interest in collectibles, TCGs, or hobby communities
