About the role
- OT integration solutions consultant connecting factory systems, sensors and controls to MaintainX’s work execution platform. Demonstrating connectors and scoping integrations for industrial customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead OT discovery with operations and automation teams
- Map customer data sources to the appropriate connector and clarify scope before deals close
- Deliver live demonstrations of OT connectors using prospects' equipment and data
- Define integration scope with implementation and professional services teams
- Ensure integrations are sold with the appropriate services and commissioned as promised
- Collaborate with solution architects on custom OT requirements not covered by preconfigured connectors
- Provide solution architects with clear technical briefs
- Document recurring integration requests as product feedback
- Help shape the connector roadmap based on customer demand
- Work daily with account executives, solution architects, implementation teams, Product and R&D
- Coach salespeople on when to involve the role
- Manage and support a customer portfolio primarily in English-speaking markets
- Travel to customer sites
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions consulting, presales engineering, implementation, integrations or similar
- Hands-on exposure to manufacturing or industrial operations, and knowledge of factory work
- Experience designing or supporting API integrations, data flows or automation
- Practical knowledge of OT data sources such as SCADA systems, historians, PLCs or industrial gateways
- Ability to explain data flows to operations managers and IT leaders, adapting communication to each audience
- Experience conducting multiple simultaneous evaluations while maintaining technical detail
- Practical experience with Ignition, Kepware, MQTT or OPC UA is an asset
- Experience with Workato, Boomi, Tray.io, Zapier or ERP integrations such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
- Experience in condition-based or predictive maintenance is an asset
- Daily verbal and written English communication required for primarily English-speaking clients in the United States and English Canada
- Must be able to travel to customer sites
