About the role

  • Marketing strategy director leading Manulife Bank go-to-market campaigns, experience roadmaps, and lending value streams. Managing strategists and influencing executives to drive banking growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing strategists
  • Own and evolve the Manulife Bank customer and advisor experience marketing roadmap
  • Lead value streams for Specialized Lending, Residential Lending, and Retail Products
  • Develop and execute go-to-market campaigns for Manulife Bank products and capabilities
  • Influence and collaborate with executives and cross-functional partners
  • Monitor and assess go-to-market initiative performance
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategy, improve execution, and increase market impact
  • Track marketing landscape, industry trends, and competitive dynamics
  • Recommend innovative strategies to maintain differentiation and momentum
  • Engage internal partners and distribution stakeholders, including advisors, to inform strategic direction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in strategic marketing, with a focus on go-to-market planning and audience engagement
  • Proven track record leading high-performing teams and delivering impactful marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of banking, financial services dynamics, and distribution/audience needs
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
