About the role
- UX Product Design Intern creating user-centered digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management. Building research, prototyping, testing, and visual design skills through mentored projects.
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and test digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management audiences
- Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads on usability reviews, user research, and user testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design documentation using Figma
- Support new digital experiences and enhancements to websites, secure platforms, and mobile applications
- Partner with designers, product owners, and technology teams to identify user needs and develop design solutions
- Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and user testing activities
- Contribute across research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, validation, and visual design
- Analyze user feedback and research findings for continuous improvement
- Support multiple projects while maintaining design quality and attention to detail
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in user experience design, product design, and digital experiences
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for user-centered solutions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow as a designer
