About the role

  • UX Product Design Intern creating user-centered digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management. Building research, prototyping, testing, and visual design skills through mentored projects.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and test digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management audiences
  • Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads on usability reviews, user research, and user testing
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design documentation using Figma
  • Support new digital experiences and enhancements to websites, secure platforms, and mobile applications
  • Partner with designers, product owners, and technology teams to identify user needs and develop design solutions
  • Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and user testing activities
  • Contribute across research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, validation, and visual design
  • Analyze user feedback and research findings for continuous improvement
  • Support multiple projects while maintaining design quality and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in user experience design, product design, and digital experiences
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for user-centered solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow as a designer
