About the role

UX Product Design Intern creating user-centered digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management. Building research, prototyping, testing, and visual design skills through mentored projects.

Responsibilities

Define, design, and test digital experiences for Manulife Wealth & Asset Management audiences
Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads on usability reviews, user research, and user testing
Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design documentation using Figma
Support new digital experiences and enhancements to websites, secure platforms, and mobile applications
Partner with designers, product owners, and technology teams to identify user needs and develop design solutions
Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and user testing activities
Contribute across research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, validation, and visual design
Analyze user feedback and research findings for continuous improvement
Support multiple projects while maintaining design quality and attention to detail

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field
Demonstrated interest in user experience design, product design, and digital experiences
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for user-centered solutions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma
Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow as a designer
