Responsibilities
Support the Automation team with development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts
Validate application functionality
Identify defects and improve test coverage
Contribute to activities supporting reliable, efficient, and high-quality software releases
Gain hands-on experience with test automation and software quality activities
Work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real projects
Requirements
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a post-secondary program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field
Foundational knowledge of Git/GitLab
Foundational SQL knowledge
API testing with Postman
Programming aptitude and interest in learning test automation tools such as WebdriverIO
Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Growth mindset and openness to learning tools including GitHub Copilot
Communication and collaboration skills
Curiosity, motivation, and eagerness to learn
Comfort with technical concepts and willingness to learn automation, testing, and software delivery practices

Availability for the full Fall placement from September 15 to December 15
