Electronics Engineer working on various electronic designs at MistyWest. Involves multidisciplinary collaboration on specifications, design, testing, and support.
Responsibilities
Work on various electronic designs and cover all stages of the design process from specifications and high-level design, to testing and release, to manufacturing and support.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams consisting of project managers, technical leads, engineers of various disciplines, and product designers to complete both product development and research tasks in a variety of industries and market segments.
Collaborate on product definition and specifications.
Detailed design of electronic circuitry.
Simulations (analog and digital).
Schematic capture and PCB design.
Testing and prototyping.
Release of manufacturing files and documentation.
Product support when necessary.
Other tasks as required or aligned to professional goals.
Requirements
This is an intermediate engineer role in which the candidate will be expected to self-organize and deliver on electronics design for projects at MW It requires a mid-high degree of experience in component selection, circuit design, and high degree of proficiency in schematic capture, and PCB layout (Altium preferred).
Proficiency in architecting and contributing to complete electronic systems that often include low-level, highly precise sensors (IMUs, temperature, humidity), discrete power supplies, MCUs or application processors, RAM, flash, high speed interfaces (USB, MIPI, LVDS), and RF components/modules Layouts are often highly complex requiring high density high layer count boards.
Test planning and validation experience, as is a demonstrable iterative approach to design, testing and risk mitigation.
