About the role

  • Technical Writer and Trainer creating documentation and conducting training for data integration products at DBSync. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and training outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, API documentation, FAQs, and product knowledge bases.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand technical concepts and help translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • Support the creation of step-by-step tutorials, system architecture diagrams, and other visual aids to enhance learning.
  • Help maintain document version control and ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.
  • Learn and use documentation tools such as Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Markdown to manage content effectively.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of technical training programs for internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Assist in conducting live and virtual training sessions on software applications, IT tools, and best practices.
  • Develop training materials, presentations, video tutorials, and e-learning modules under guidance.
  • Gather feedback from trainees and adjust training methods for better engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and explore new training techniques to improve learning outcomes.
  • Support product development teams by identifying documentation gaps and suggesting enhancements.
  • Help track progress in Agile development cycles and contribute to team discussions.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • Strong interest or prior coursework in technical writing, training, or software development.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as MS Word, Confluence, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, Git, and Markdown.
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or Camtasia is an asset.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
  • Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and contribute.
  • Certifications in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or Business Analysis are a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRMs and ERPs like Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.
