About the role

  • Support development & documentation of operational risk policies for financial client. Craft new documentation & align policies with banking standards to uplift risk framework.

Responsibilities

  • Support the remediation and drafting of operational risk policy documents. Review existing policy documents and align them with current BMO standards and expectations. Develop new risk management policies and procedures from scratch for banking operations. Elevate current risk policies to meet new regulatory and industry standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policies are comprehensive and compliant. Assist in analyzing, revising, and finalizing policy documents for enterprise-wide use.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services or banking. Proven ability to write risk management policy documents at a professional level. Strong understanding of operational risk management principles. Sound knowledge of bank risk management frameworks and standards. Experience reviewing, revising, and establishing policies, standards, and procedures for an enterprise audience. Excellent written communication skills with a focus on technical accuracy.
