About the role
- Geospatial Technician creating high-quality ortho-imagery and geospatial datasets for AI models. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure data quality and adhere to standards in a remote setup.
Responsibilities
- Create ortho-imagery using Bentley's Descartes.
- Ensure exceptional product quality while meeting production timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to aid in the development of equipment and software.
- Produce 3D photogrammetric models of structures using Bentley's iTwin and Agisoft Metashape.
- Integrating datasets from our proprietary sensors.
- Documenting and maintaining data organization standards.
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in geography, computer science, resource management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience capturing, converting, creating, editing, and maintaining geospatial datasets in a CAD or GIS environment.
- Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities.
- Willingness to work independently and be a self-starter, and able to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
