About the role

  • AI and Analytics Specialist leading HR analytics and AI initiatives at PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta. Focus on HR metrics, data insights, and strategic decision-making through AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR analytics and reporting initiatives to provide insights that inform HR strategies and business decisions.
  • Identify patterns and trends in HR, employee and business metrics to support strategic decision-making for process improvements based on data insights and analytics.
  • Use data to tell a compelling story, translating complex information into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders.
  • Research AI capabilities, AI trends, and automation to optimize HR processes strategically.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other corporate departments and the HR Leadership team to ensure alignment with priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy and security standards.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, strong exposure to analytics and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities, trends, and automation.
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Possess business acumen and an understanding of how to incorporate AI solutions that positively contribute to business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability translate data into actionable insights.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Results oriented and has proven project management experience.
