Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to uncover insights related to growth, retention, pricing, segmentation, and performance drivers
Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical and predictive models that inform business decisions and improve customer and broker outcomes
Partner with business, Finance, and operational leaders to frame problems, evaluate options, and support the development of actionable plans
Monitor KPIs and trends, explain variance and outliers, and provide clear insights into results and productivity
Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling stories for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
Ensure data quality by consolidating, validating, and documenting data from multiple systems and sources
Proactively identify new data elements and analytical opportunities
Apply strong quantitative and actuarial‑style reasoning to solve complex problems
Lead strategic analytics initiatives within defined problem areas
Requirements
University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field
3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, actuarial, or advanced quantitative roles; P&C insurance experience is an asset
Strong quantitative foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem‑solving
Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
Proficiency in SQL programming is required
Experience developing dashboards or reports using Power BI, or a strong willingness to learn
Ability to clearly communicate analytical insights and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Effective time management and organization skills
