About the role

  • Field Engineer/Coordinator at Construction PCL Inc. contributing to outstanding project delivery in the Québec market. Supporting field operations, documentation, and quality assurance in a fast‑growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with updating drawings and specifications.
  • Documents field records for quality, production, labor, and materials.
  • Assists with inventory and tracking time sheets, costs, and quantities.
  • Prepares quantity takeoffs.
  • Assists in monitoring the quality plan, including conducting quality inspections.
  • Conducts basic safety inspections and training, identifies and corrects safety hazards, and leads by example in safety practices and procedures.
  • Assists the project team with subtrade partner management, including managing requests for information, shop drawings, changes and billings and workforce planning.
  • Assists with schedules and monitoring performance.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, trade or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of progressive experience as field coordinator is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles, specifications, and procedures.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
