Field Engineering Site Supervisor overseeing site surveys and liaising with contractors for construction processes. Involves project management and quality assurance in Edmonton, Canada.
Responsibilities
Site survey/as build
Survey Point generation and grade sheet creation.
Liaise with contractor for construction process and survey needs.
Establish/confirm quantities for progress claims.
Update project engineers/managers.
Attend site meetings.
Provide as built surveys to engineer, including site topos.
Prepare all CCC packages for submission.
Coordinate CCC inspections and report to engineer.
1-2 neighbourhood overall for site management.
Coordinate 1-5 survey assistants.
Complete regular site inspection reports/monitoring.
Observe site and inform engineer of potential issues.
Construction monitoring for QA/QC.
Miscellaneous to assist in project administration
Requirements
NAIT Diploma for Technologist
1 to 5 years of related construction and or engineering field experience.
APEGA certification for CET or P.Eng recommended when applicable
