Responsibilities
Ensure stable builds are produced, fixed, and regularly delivered to the production team.
Ensure that changes made to the engine as part of other projects are correctly integrated.
Notify and assist stakeholders in resolving issues.
Collaborate with the client’s QA engineering team to quickly resolve build and integration problems.
Extend and maintain continuous integration pipelines.
Monitor build health and respond promptly to outages or blockers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of production tools.
Provide scripting support to designers and technical artists.
Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered by the development team.
Take ownership of final build packaging for platform submission.
Ensure smooth processes when transitioning builds from development into stable environments.
Requirements
Strong programming skills in Python and C#.
Experience working with custom tools, pipelines, or proprietary engines.
Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment systems and automated build processes.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to support multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in English is required due to regular interactions with stakeholders and partners outside Quebec.
Asset: Experience in development support roles for games (build engineer, tools programmer, technical support programmer).
Knowledge of C++.
Familiarity with Maya scripting processes.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Experience developing and delivering console builds/releases.
