About the role
- Senior Field Specialist managing TSA's IT infrastructure across Ottawa and Montreal. Involves hands-on technical support and collaboration with stakeholders for IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage IT infrastructure and end-user systems across TSA locations in Ottawa and Montreal
- Provide direction and oversight to all IT operations, network security and communications systems for multiple TSA locations in GTA area
- Support the technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems, network, and policies
- Inspect and identify the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Manage and support all network connected systems for multiple sites
- Respond and resolve requests related to technical or non-technical issues
Requirements
- Completion of a diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in implementation and support of IT systems
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, vehicle and have a clean driving record
- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
- Strong sense of integrity with professional ethics
- Able to proactively recognize potential risks and issues, respond with solutions and engage others in implementing change
