About the role

  • Sanofi Key Account Specialist advancing Multiple Myeloma therapies across Quebec West, Newfoundland and Labrador. Managing oncology accounts, scientific engagement, and territory growth.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales and performance objectives while responsibly managing territory resources
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine a data-driven territory business plan
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Build and maintain value-based partnerships with hematologic oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals
  • Serve as Sanofi's primary commercial contact within accounts
  • Coordinate cross-functional support from Marketing, Medical, Patient Support, and other internal partners
  • Understand account decision-making structures and adapt engagement approaches
  • Guide formulary and budget approval processes for institutions and key accounts
  • Conduct high-quality scientific exchanges aligned with the Product Monograph and Sanofi's ethical and compliance standards
  • Explain the clinical and patient value of Sanofi therapies in evolving Multiple Myeloma treatment paradigms
  • Educate and train healthcare teams on the clinical benefits, administration, and real-world use of Sanofi therapies
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer learning between community-based and academic oncologists
  • Build local stakeholder advocacy and support regional and national educational programs
  • Maintain accurate territory and account databases
  • Use omnichannel and digital tools to enhance customer engagement
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation, call reporting, expense management, and administrative records
  • Complete mandatory training and steward company assets
  • Participate in national and regional meetings, conferences, and training programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Science, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Oncology or Hematology experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in complex, specialist-driven markets
  • Deep understanding of Hematology/Oncology, including treatment landscapes, patient journeys, and market access
  • Experience with institutional accounts, reimbursement processes, and formulary approvals
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret market data and translate insights into action
  • Proven excellence in consultative, value-based selling and account strategy execution
  • Demonstrated resilience and competitive drive
  • Ability to influence without authority and lead through collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex clinical information for senior clinical stakeholders
  • Curiosity and learning agility regarding disease states, clinical data, and product complexity
  • Exceptional planning, prioritization, and territory management skills
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating independently in a field-based environment
  • Proficient with CRM systems and digital engagement tools
  • Fluency in both French and English required
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 60% of the time, including national and occasional international travel
  • Flexibility for evening and weekend work as required
  • Eligibility for a company vehicle under the Sanofi Fleet Program
  • Required fleet safety training and acceptable driving record
