About the role

  • Solutions Engineer at ScalePad supporting managed service providers with compliance and technical solutions. Partnering with Sales and delivering tailored product demos to drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales on qualified opportunities requiring technical complexity or compliance depth.
  • Lead discovery to understand partner goals, compliance maturity, technical environment, and success criteria.
  • Deliver tailored ControlMap demos that connect product capabilities to partner workflows and business value.
  • Handle technical questions and objections related to ControlMap with confidence.
  • Maintain working knowledge of ScalePad’s full product suite.
  • Support strategic onboarding for high-value partners, ensuring a smooth transition from presales to implementation.
  • Document repeatable discovery, demo, and workflow patterns and collaborate to improve materials.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, presales, consulting, or technical advisory roles in SaaS, cybersecurity, compliance, or the MSP industry.
  • Strong experience leading discovery, delivering tailored demos, and connecting technical capabilities to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with technical experts, business stakeholders, and executive buyers.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Success teams in fast-moving environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security concepts such as controls, evidence collection, audits, trust centers, and readiness programs.
  • Experience with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, NIST CSF, or similar is strongly preferred.
