About the role

  • SDET architecting quality nervous systems for AI at Search Atlas. Leading technical direction of testing frameworks for autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own quality for a realistic Search Atlas slice consisting of 6 Express microservices and a Next.js frontend
  • Evaluate and refine our QABot AI test automation package, identifying and fixing deliberate architectural flaws
  • Drive the adoption and fluency of Stagehand and Playwright across the engineering organization
  • Identify and resolve complex bugs across three difficulty tiers (Easy, Medium, and Hard) using distributed traces and CI reports
  • Translate technical diagnostic findings and architectural judgments into Executive Briefings and Agent Evaluation reports
  • Analyze pre-generated ops artifacts, including trend analysis and distributed telemetry, to maintain high system reliability

Requirements

  • A proven ability to critique and improve test automation architecture at scale
  • Deep fluency in Playwright and emerging agentic frameworks like Stagehand
  • A "forensic" approach to troubleshooting distributed systems and microservices
  • The ability to communicate technical risks and readiness to stakeholders clearly and concisely
