Senior Business Intelligence Analyst driving KPI management, forecasting, and profitability insights for MGID’s global native advertising platform. Supporting commercial growth through SQL, Python, BI, and data analysis.
About the role
- Power BI Developer collaborating on data insights and reporting for program management at Stantec. Supporting transformational project solutions in diverse sectors like engineering and construction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
- Collect and analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Use statistical methods to interpret data and generate useful business reports.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with the Controls team and other teams to resolve data-related issues.
- Assist with Business Process development regarding data gathering and analysis
Requirements
- Ability to work with large complex data models
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI is strongly preferred, but similar alternatives may be considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time, organize, set priorities, and make timely decisions.
- Experience with large public sector programs in water or transportation
- Prior work in project controls
- Experience with API calls and management (e.g., REST)
- Experience with Middleware tools (e.g., Boomi, Power Automate)
- Previous leadership and management of team
- Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering)
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong Power BI (or similar) experience is required.
- Industry-specific knowledge and experience (e.g., Architecture, Engineering, Construction).
