About the role

  • IT Support Analyst supporting internal employees of StarTech.com with IT issues. Involvement in infrastructure projects and technical skill development in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, resolve or escalate software and hardware technology issues
  • Prioritize, assess and complete business requests in a timely manner
  • Being available during off hours on a rotating shift to address urgent incidents
  • Documentation, design, configuration and implementation of enterprise technologies
  • Working with outside vendor support and IT business analysts to track progress on deficiencies
  • Be the data steward for distribution and parts master management

Requirements

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting IT technologies in a corporate environment
  • Experience providing technical support in Windows environments
  • Familiarity supporting Apple/Mac devices
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Experience using IT ticketing or service management platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
