About the role

Senior Platform Engineer designing, improving, and scaling infrastructure for Stay22's platform. Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.
Approach platform development with a product-focused methodology, treating it as a critical internal product.
Improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure deployments.
Implement and maintain observability tools (monitoring, logging, alerting).
Collaborate with product teams to improve service performance and resilience.
Optimize management of environments, configurations, and secrets.
Ensure the platform's security, reliability, and scalability.
Contribute to process automation and enhance the developer experience.
Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.

Proficiency in English to collaborate with international teams.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
6–8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
Experience with cloud environments (GCP is a plus), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).
Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and security practices.
Understanding of SRE concepts.
Familiarity with developer experience frameworks such as DORA and SPACE.
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in an agile, high-growth environment.
