About the role
- Implementation Analyst managing client onboarding, data validation, and carrier-platform setup. Supporting Sterling Brokers' technology-enabled group benefits and retirement administration business in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire client onboarding process from initiation to completion
- Lead client implementation kick-off calls to align expectations, gather required information, and establish next steps
- Review client documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission
- Prepare and submit implementation forms to carrier partners
- Ensure proper setup of new clients and plan members within SCBConnect and carrier platforms
- Act as liaison between Operations, Sales, Systems, Carrier Relations, clients, and external stakeholders
- Address and resolve carrier-related onboarding requests
- Conduct data audits and validation to ensure accuracy in system setups
- Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to enhance the client experience
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in Group Benefits or a related industry preferred
- Strong data analysis skills
- Experience working with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) required
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms, data feeds, and carrier systems is a plus
- Ability to conduct business in French is a plus; industry-specific terms can be coached as needed
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working with clients in a professional capacity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with a continuous improvement mindset
