About the role
- Field Support Specialist managing RMAs, inventory, shipping, and customer orders. Supporting S&C Electric Canada’s reliable, resilient power-grid equipment operations.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming orders, accept purchase orders in Oracle, and validate customer information, orders, and purchase order details
- Create customer quotes in Salesforce
- Enter item data for new parts assigned to Toronto PSS
- Update customer accounts, including ship-to, bill-to, and sold-to information
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, adjustments, and Kanban management
- Order components to maintain required inventory levels
- Prepare and transport small parts to shipping
- Perform receiving and shipping transactions in Oracle
- Manage the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process
- Arrange customer RMA pickups and create/edit customs documents
- Receive incoming materials and process associated paperwork and data entry
- Pick, pack, and ship products
- Place inventory in designated locations
- Perform other duties required for team success
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required
- 1 - 3 years of previous experience in facilities and/or related field
- Customer service and data entry skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Communication of work instructions or results in oral or written form
- Good listening skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs, and lift/move/use objects or equipment up to 20 lbs
- May be required to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
