About the role

Senior Cloud Infrastructure Analyst enabling secure, scalable AI and analytics platforms at Sun Life, a global financial services company. Supporting AWS services, automation, and enterprise AI delivery.

Responsibilities

Act as SME for enterprise AI services and solutions owned and operated by the team
Support and integrate AI solutions across the enterprise using AI-focused cloud services
Enable and maintain Amazon Bedrock capabilities, including Agents and Knowledge Bases
Develop and support Amazon Bedrock Agent Core for existing and future use cases
Enable and support Amazon Q Business solutions for enterprise AI use cases
Develop and support Amazon Quick Suite, focusing on agentic workflows
Support productionizing existing services and patterns
Support the Pattern as a Product framework for reusable cloud solutions
Apply DevOps and automation-first practices to improve reliability
Lead Proofs of Concept, KTLO activities, and CI/CD improvements
Provide training and support to optimize cloud infrastructure
Provide ongoing support for teams leveraging platform AI solutions
Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Architecture, Data Science, and Analytics partners
Provide guidance and informal mentorship to team members
Contribute to reference architectures, reusable patterns, and operational playbooks

Reliability Status Clearance required
Must account for activities if lived or travelled outside Canada for 6 consecutive months during the last 5 years as part of the Government of Canada screening

Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience assessing trade-offs, managing risk, and resolving complex issues
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team

Hands-on experience with AWS development tools, including IAM, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda, and Service Catalog
Infrastructure as Code experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform
CI/CD experience, such as Jenkins
Git-based and Bitbucket workflows
PowerShell, Python, or other shell scripting for automation
Experience supporting AI/ML or analytics platforms
Experience in regulated or security-focused environments
