About the role
- Senior Consultant transforming Sun Life insurance processes through Lean Six Sigma, automation, and Generative AI. Designing operating models and delivering measurable enterprise improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and build operating models for business areas, defining required process, people, and system capabilities
- Structure ambiguous business problems through clear problem statements, workplans, success measures, and recommendations
- Drive initiatives from analysis through decision-making, pilots, implementation, and measurable outcomes
- Lead stakeholder workshops and current-state assessments to identify pain points and opportunities
- Prioritize use cases and define target-state process designs
- Redesign and simplify processes for automation and AI readiness
- Identify and prioritize automation and AI/Generative AI opportunities, defining success measures, feasibility, and scaling roadmaps
- Partner with data and technology teams to translate optimized processes into AI-enabled solutions, including intelligent workflows and autonomous agents
- Communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
Requirements
- University degree with 3-5 years of progressive experience in management consulting, process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation roles
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to all organizational levels
- Strong project management orientation; ability to independently prioritize work, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain momentum
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills
- Experience with automation, process mining, AI, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Pega, and Blue Prism
- Exposure to Generative AI and/or agentic AI use cases in a business context, including evaluating suitability, defining use cases, or supporting implementation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, or equivalent experience
- Self-starter with strong ownership, bias for action, and ability to operate independently
